Cody Holcomb’s family ties to Florida agriculture and horses spans 5 generations. It can be traced back to his great great grandfather, who bred, raised and trained mules for the Army to pull their wagons with. After that, his grandfather became a fertilizer salesman and realtor who later went on to start up what is now known as Willaway Cattle & Sod Company. This cattle ranch operation held land in Osceola County, Saint Lucie County, Dixie County and Okeechobee County, ranging in acreage from 300 to 35,000. Cody’s parents were part of the cattle ranch operation as well as running their own 160 acre ranch in Saint Lucie County called the Whitetail Ranch. Growing up, Cody showed cutting horses, raised and showed his family’s ranch steers in 4H, and worked for the ranch until recently. He and his wife Brooke have started their own ranch in Saint Lucie County and have a vision for what the horse boarding community needs. Together, their vision is to provide a horse with proper feed, care, exercise, and quality grazing in large pastures. Come join the herd at Wyco Ranch, where a horse can be a horse.
